We
want the Clay Springs Parent
Teacher Association (PTA) to be a very active, integral part of the
school. We encourage all parents to join the PTA and attend meetings.
Strong commitment from the home is essential to the educational effort

Staff members, parents and community
partners are welcome to join the Clay Springs School Advisory Council
(SAC). The SAC's role is to assist in the implementation of the school
improvement plan. Meetings are held monthly in the Media Center.
The SAC enables you to:
- Learn about your student's curriculum
- Give your ideas on how our school can be improved
- Get to know our Principal and Assistant Principal
- Join a group of staff and parents who are interested and concerned
about the improvement of our school
Read what some current members of SAC have
to say about their experience:
"SAC has given me the insight into
what is expected academically from the teachers and from the children.
I am able to stay involved and give my ideas on how kids can be given
more opportunities to learn." - Kim R, mother of four
"Being new to the school last year,
SAC gave me a great forum to meet so many staff members and the Principal.
All of my ideas and concerns were heard and addressed." -
Anissa D., mother of three
